Best-selling author, Frank Spiering, also known as the Columbo of True Crime, lived by the motto, where there is smoke, there is fire. Never one to shy away from controversy, Frank loved a juicy crime story. Throughout his career and years of painstaking research, he was never afraid to pull back the curtain on a story, bringing it into the light, no matter how grisly and disturbing the facts might prove to be.
Frank was a graduate of UC Berekeley. In addition to books, he also wrote Broadway plays and films.
